Be the master of Ur own image rather than letting others define it for you.. Incorporate dramatic devices into Ur gestures and actions.. Understand this: The world wants to assign you a role in life.. And once you accept that role,, youre doomed.. Your power is limited to the tiny amount allotted to the role you hav been forced to assume.. Re-create Urself,, forge a new identity,, one of Ur own making,, one that has no boundaries assigned to it by an envious and resentful world.. The character you seem to hav been born with is not necessarily who you are; beyond d characteristics you hav inherited,, you parents,, your religious leaders,, your friends, and Ur peers hav helped to shape Ur personality.. This isnt riqht.. Remake Urself into a character of power.. working on Urself like clay should be one of Ur greatest and most pleasurable life tasks. It makes you in essence an artist-- an artist creating yourself.. The first step in d process of self-creation is self-consciousness-- being aware of Urself as an actor and taking control of Ur appearance and emotions.. The bad actor is the one who is alws SINCERE.. Those who cry in public may temporarily elicit sympathy, but sympathy soon turns into scorn and irritation at their self obsessiveness-- they are crying to get attention,, we feel,, and a malicious part of us wants to deny them the satisfaction.. Good actors control themselves better.. they can PLAY sincere and sober,, they can affect a compassionate look at will,, but they dont hav to feel it.. So learn self-control.. Adopt the plasticity of the actor,, who can mold his face to d emotion required.. Learn to play many roles,, to be whatever the moment requires.. Adapt Ur mask to the situation.. To a christian,, be a christian.. To a scholar,, be a scholar.. To a weakling,, be a weakling.. To the hopeless romantic,, be a hopeless romantic.. To the devil,, be a devil.. To the confused,, appear confused.. Know how to be all things to all men.. That is the art of winning everyone,, for like attracts like..
