QUALIFICATION: i) L.L.M or equivalent qualification recognized by the Higher Education Commission having two years active practice as an Advocate; OR ii) LL.B (with 50% aggregate marks) or equivalent qualification recognized by the Higher Education Commission having four years active practice as an Advocate. EXPERIENCE: 02 years active practice as Advocate in case of LL.M and 04 years active practice from the date of issuance of license to practice in subordinate courts by the Punjab Bar Council in case of LL.B. PAY: BS-17 + (Rs.5,000/- as Non practicing allowance). AGE: 28 to 35 years on 10-02-2014. DOMICILE: Punjab. GENDER: Male, Female & Shemale candidates domiciled in any district of the Province of Punjab. PLACE OF POSTING: Anywhere in the Punjab Province. ELIGIBILITY FOR CIVIL SERVANTS: Civil Servants are not eligible to apply for the post of Assistant District Attorney. SYLLABUS FOR WRITTEN TEST: One paper written test of Criminal Law / Civil Law of three hours duration will be held for short-listing of the applicants. CIVIL LAW: CRIMINAL LAW The Qanoon-e-Shahadat. The Pakistan Penal Code. The Civil Procedure Code. The Qanoon-e-Shahadat. The Limitation Act. The Criminal Procedue Code. NOTE: i) Neither Bare Acts will be provided by the Commission Nor candidate are allowed to bring their own Bare Acts for consultation in the Examination Hall. ii) A candidate must obtained 33% marks to qualify the written paper and 50% marks in the interview to be finally declared successful. Number of Chances: Only 03 (three) chances are allowed a candidate to appear in the written examination / test for the post of Assistant District Attorney (BS-17).
