LAWDS PRAYER Lawd! Spare me the rantings of self righteous a**eholes. Especially middle aged ones who still live with their Mother. Help me not to misuse my gift for words by using it to totally destroy their desperate Trying to be down with the youth ramblings, full in the knowledge that they have piles and varicose veins older than any teen. Guide me to see the funny side and not contemplate hiring a hitman. (I say hitman but a toddler in a strop could probably take them out) Grant me the good grace, to NOT come down to their level as I dont have the strength to limbo underground. Encourage me to close my ears when they attempt to use teenage slang. And if I do laugh let them think its with them and not AT them (Its kinder that way) Give me the ability to understand that even though I think theyre a f*****g muppet. Someone, somewhere tolerates them. And finally. Please dont let me have access to chloroform, a spade and a secluded wood if Im ever left alone with them.
