LEADERS ARE READER...LETS DO SOME REAL STUDYING HERE! The debate on whether leaders are born or made has been going on for decades, if not centuries, but recent opinions seem to agree that although one might be born with a potential for leadership, it takes some level of training and honing to evnetually become a true leader. In the same vein, a not-so-gifted person who is willing to put in what it takes can equally emerge a great leader and do even better that the gifted ones. We would gather from the above that leaders need some grooming if they are to meet up with the current dynamic global demand on leadership. If we are to be exceptional leaders that will leave a great legacy for those coming behind us, then we have a great price of studying to pay. This is why it would be good that we take out some time in the coming year to study a couple of books, videos and other materials together so that we can grow together. Theres a lot of advantage in studying together. Apart putting a postive peer pressure on us to go beyond our comfort zones, it also helps us to have someone to share our insight and questions with. PLEASE LET US KNOW WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT THIS AND ALSO SHARE YOU IDEAS ON HOW WE CAN MAKE IT RICHER AND MORE ENJOYABLE. In the mean time, please take out time to go through this Youtube video on John Maxwells book FIVE LEVELS OF LEADERSHIP which is one of the materials we shall be studying during this period. youtu.be/aPwXeg8ThWI . Enjoy!
