LEADERSHIP PARADOX I would vote for Prof. Yemi Osinbajo any day - TopicsExpress

LEADERSHIP PARADOX I would vote for Prof. Yemi Osinbajo any day as President of Nigeria, but not as Vice President, where hell only be a butt adjunct to a man i know he possesses better credentials than, for the top job. A lot of those going hysterical about partisan politics in Nigeria do not even understand that a Vice President has no constitutional powers or function, except as delegated by the President. That means irrespective of your individual qualities, brilliance and competence, yet as Vice President, youll only be a mirror of the man whos President. And where such a President happens to be a visionless hardline junta alumnus, you, whose dexterity and brilliance we could hitherto vouch for, will only operate as a lame-duck follow-follow Vice President, because the Constitution has already hedged you in. Make unu hear me now people! The way to beat this horse-trading stratagem in political parties which these gall-ladened politicians use to scuttle our collective aspirations is to scramble and advocate for INDEPENDENT CANDIDACY to be enshrined in our Constitution. The time is nigh! Chai Naija!
