LEADERSHIP QUALITY IN OKIGWE SOUTH FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY, BETWEEN DEACON CHIKE OKAFOR ( A PERFORMER) AND PRO. CHUDI UWAZURUIKE ( A FAILURE)! For me, Leadership is not a Lordship but service to mankind or humanity. It is on this note that the good people of Okigwe South Federal constituency made up of Ihitte Uboma, Obowo and Ehime Mbano LGAs, are anxiously waiting for the DECISION DAY (D.DAY) to vote out the current Man at the helm, Pro. Chudi Uwazuruike over his poor leadership representation at the National Assembly. One thing that people must realize about Leadership is the fact that Leadership has a certain qualities or attributes that one must have before answering a leader. In leadership, there is a theory known as a TRAIT THEORY, which has to do with the idea that leadership is based on individual attributes, which for me is the major importance of leadership considering the assumption that leadership is rooted in the characteristics that certain individuals possess. Failure of any Leader to meet up with those theories of trait in leadership, such person or persons do not worth answering a Leader. The attributes are Situation interaction, good representation, function, behavior, power, vision, values, Service, charisma, intelligence among others. But among all the above mentioned attributes, professor Chudi Uwazuruike could only boast of INTELLIGENCE ATTRIBUTE, considering the fact that he is a professor which is highly infinitesimal to his constituency. Far from that, he is a political failure who is not worthy to be addressed as a political leader talk of representing a whole of Okigwe South at the National Assembly. Without any contradiction, I make bold to say that Prof. Chudi Uwazuruike have continued to be missing in the affairs of providing the basic needs of his constituents who laboured so much to vote him in as their lawmaker. No empowerment, no basic or developmental amenities to his credit. He has continued to be aloof in bringing dividends of Democracy nearer to his people. Diverting all his constituency allowances, projects and salaries for his personal use without any programme for the youths of his constituency. Chai! Godfatherism should take a half chunk of his failure, which is the bane of IMO State PDP considering his emergence and his subsequent abysmal performance and laickaidasical attitude towards the good people of Okigwe South Federal Constituency. We cant wait to vote him out come 2015! An angry youth from Nsu in Ehime Mbano said. We must give him red card through our votes come 2015 general election, another Ehime youth roared. Meanwhile, the storms shall soon be over for the people of Okigwe South Federal Constituency, following the coming out of Deacon Chike Okafor to replace Prof. Chudi Uwazuruike at the National Assembly, having listened to the cries of people from the constituency . In fact, starting from 2015, the constituency shall become the envy of other Federal constituencies because of Deacon Chike Okafor. I envy them for the developmental turn around and pragmatic leadership ingenuity they are going to experience beginning from 2015. Do you know that Deacon Chike Okafor has donated a total of 31 Brand New Transformers to the 31 Autonomous communities of Ehime Mbano Local Government Area, abode to Pro. Chudi Uwazuruike? This is a Man who do not receive constituency allowances, projects allowances nor monthly salaries like Pro. Uwazuruike. All the attributes earlier mentioned above, Deacon have them all which has endeared him to all and sundry from the constituency and beyond. Am not a politician but i must identify with this great young Man of Okigwe zone, a replica of DR SAM MBAKWE in Okigwe zone, so said by Pro. Chinedu Nwajiuba, who is well respected in the zone as he volunteered to be his campaign DG. 2015 is the year to separate developmental and leadership contender from a pretender. APC is the Party, Deacon Chike Okafor is the Man and votes from masses is the weapon. No rigging because if you dares to rig you could be launched to death. Ndewo nu Okigwe Zone.
