LEAGUE MEMBERS: PLEASE READ AND GIVE INPUT... So For MCs By MCs has a 20 minute slot on the Hip Hop 4 The Homeless event going down January 24TH in just under two weeks. This is a big event for Oly and there will be a lot of people in attendance so trying to figure out what the best way to use this time slot would be. We tried to book a pre-written battle but pretty much all are available battlers were booked for the February 7TH event so that didnt work out.. So far I have 3 ideas A.) A 4 person mini-freestyle battle. This would be easy to do because if its freestyle there is no preparation. Our league has roots in the freestyle battle format so thought it might be fun to take it back to our origins for an event that is as classic hip hop themed as Hip Hop For The Homeless. This is a charity event but I would put up 50$ for the prize anyways out of my own pocket B.) Have a couple of our hottest artists come up and perform a song or two. Could probably have 3-4 artists rock a song and showcase their music outside of battling. This would be cool but I personally think option A would be more fun. C.) If anyone can swing it maybe we could do a one round pre-written battle maybe even two differing matches.
