LEAN ON THE LISTENERS...Greg and Dre, You guys are stupid funny every morning, lol. Let me start off by saying I am a 3rd generation Mexican-American. My grandparents came from Mexico for a better life. They speak very little English. My mom and dad speak both English and Spanish. My wife and I speak mostly English with a little bit of Spanish. I can understand it more than I can speak it. My kids speak NO Spanish at all. This past Thanksgiving, I overheard my grandparents having a conversation with our neighbor’s kid. He is around the same age as our kids. This kid was speaking to my grandparents in fluent Spanish and my neighbors are white! Our kids were just standing there looking totally confused. We were so embarrassed. Is it my responsibility as a Mexican to make sure my kids learn Spanish, or is that something they should decide on their own? Dre’s Hashtag: UGottaLearn
