LEARN TO PASS DECREES Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways. When men are cast down, then thou shalt say, There is lifting up; and he shall save the humble person. Job 22:28-29 The world was created with spoken word, and it’s by spoken word that every ills and woes in the world would be corrected. Our text says, you shall decree a thing and it shall be established. God does nothing except in fulfillment of His word. Nothing is done or established when nothing is decreed. When you learn to decree, you give God a raw material to use in blessing you. Life and death are in the power of the tongue, those that know how to use it will eat the reward. (Paraphrased) Proverbs 18:21 Our text gives us an example on how to confess and decree. It says whenever there is casting down, you’ll say there is a lifting up and God would intervene. Don’t describe your problem with you words, rather change it with your continuous positive decrees and confessions. Don’t accept the negative; keep confessing the positive and the Lord would make your decrees come to pass. Your words are the raw materials to your future, when you confess positive God would fix your future with it for you and when you go negative, the devil would take his opportunity to ruin you with it. When there is casting down, say and keep saying there is a lifting up and God would intervene by establishing your words. When things are bad, don’t complain, decree and keep decreeing and God would change the situation for you.
