LEARNING THE HARD WAy Is it the once minnor team that have up their game or its our Zambia that is below Par?..... What a performance and situation weve put ourselves into......anyways when is the last time Zambia won an away match in qualifiers(Oh against Uganda on penalties in 2012). A lot has to be done, there is little hunger for glory from some of the players...they care less when they lose the ball and fighting for the ball they are equally bad.... The cutting edge in the final third leaves much to be desired, there is too much lack of creativity in the middle of the park.... We need more fresh blood, hard working and creative players with hunger for success. Charles Zulu was excellent going forward amd wiping those crosses, we need more of such players. In the game its not always that ull have numerous chances, if your strikers are not efficient then ure doomed. Can players like Ronald Kampamba,Evans Kangwa, Moses Favoured Phiri and the brilliant Lubambo Musonda be given a chance that these other players have been given. The other thing is team selection from the squad to the starting XI,Pick players on merit and not on past glory or reputation(not playing names) its good to leave the stage whilst the audience is still clapping, and game reading by the tehnical bench. You read the game when it is in play,as coaches you identify your opponents strenghth and weakness and how you can overcome them. We cried for a local to be in charge of Chipolopolo but from the look of things, its a fifty fifty gamble.
