LEASE OPPURTUNITY AVAILABLE LOOKING FOR A BEAUTIFUL LOWER LEVEL DRESSAGE HORSE? Rosebud is a 12 yr old 16 hh Chestnut Appendix Quarter Horse. She has been showing close to her whole life. Most recently, she was doing Hunter/Jumper, showing in Florida, but two years before that she was doing strictly Dressage. She’s a very fancy mover, super sweet, and no vices!! She’s such a pleasure to be around and work with. Unfortunately, last year she was injured. Rosebud had lesions on the tendons in both her front feet, causing her to be stall rested and rehabbed for just about one year. She was ridden slowly and extensively as part of her rehab, and she was cleared this May – she’s fit as a fiddle! However, the vet advised us that she should no longer have a jumping career. We are looking for a person who is interested in doing dressage with her, or just riding for the sake of riding. She’s great on the trails. She can jump over a few small things for fun, but it can’t be her job anymore. Because we love Rosebud so much, we would really prefer an on-farm lease, to keep her at home. $200 per month. Our Barn is in Gilford, NH on Grant Rd, 2 miles down the road from Gunstock Mountain Resort. But an off-farm lease could be possible under the right circumstances.
