LEB Gold Regular Season, Spain: Saturday, March 15th - Game 23: FC Barcelona B vs BC River Andorra Morabanc 80-77 After getting 11th wins in a row (more the Copa Principe), BC River Andorra Morabanc maybe felt the pressure in the night that could have meant the direct promotion the ACB League, falling for 80-77 on the court of FC Barcelona B, that kept the 13th place of the ranking improving to 5-18, alwasy on a tie with Planasa Navarra but ahead in the direct duel, while Andorra kept as 1st placed, 19-4, with three more rounds to reach the direct promotion before the end of the Regular Season. The game was balanced for 40: 25-25 at 10, 45-42 at 20, 58-60 at 30 but finally -3 for the guests... Asier Zengotitabengoa played 15 from the starting five, scoring 6 points more 1 rebound and 1 assist for 3 of evaluation. Friday, March 14th - Game 23: Força Lleida Club Esportiu vs Peñas Huesca 95-91 2OT Two overtimes were necessary to decide the winner, with Força Lleida that finally celebrated at the end of the 50 and stole the 9th place - the latest one of the Playoffs zone - just to Peñas Huesca, now 10th, both with a 10-13 balance. Despite of the great start made by the guests (9-19), the home players reduced the gap in the second quarter for the 30-35 of the halftime, then recovered 1 more in the third quarter (51-55) but most of all tied the game with the 15-11 break of the fourth quarter, 66-66. The score was again on a tie at the end of the first overtime, 74-74, then the second overtime was played on very fast rhythm and rewarded the home team with a 21-17 partial that signed the +4 win. Jorge Romero performed 9 points, 3 rebounds, 6 assists, 1 steal, 8 of evaluation in 35 from the starting five. Friday, March 14th - Game 23: Planasa Navarra vs Leyma Natura Coruña Basket 71-67 Planasa found a character win over Leyma (6th, 13-10) improving to 5-18, but the unexpected win got by FC Barcelona B over the leader BC River Andorra didnt let to the club from Navarra to make one step forward in the ranking, keeping on a tie and 14th placed. The game was balanced, with Planasa running on 26-21 at 10 but Leyma answered recovering 1 point in the second (44-40) and 3 points in the third quarter (55-54). Finally, Planasa won the fourth period for 16-13, grabbing the win. Alejandro Navajas scored 3 points more 4 rebounds, 1 steal, 3 of evaluation in 22. LEB Platinum Regular Season, Spain: Saturday, March 15th - Game 22: CB Prat Joventut vs CEBA Guadalajara 67-64 OT It was a fantastic duel between CB Prat Joventut and CEBA Guadalajara, and the home players finally got the victory overcoming the guests for 67-64 after the overtime. The game always kept extremely fought, with CB Prat at +1 at 10 (19-18), tied at the halftime (34-34), then down by 4 at 30 (45-49) but able to tie once more the game before the end of the regular time, sending the game to the overtime on 57-57. Finally, in the latest 5 the home players defeated the opponent for 10-7, winning the game. As well as the game was fantastic, Zoran Nikolić was fantastic too: the young center from Montenegro, class 1996, performed 15 points (7/10 from the field, 1/2 from the line) more 9 rebounds, 1 steal, 2 blocks for 17 of personal evaluation in 25 played.
