LED lights - the savior of Salmon Trollers who dont have a generator but would also like not to hit the jetties at 3 am before the first cup of coffee is finished... I HATE leaving port in the dark! I know I can do it, I know I can see the jetties if I squint my eyes hard enough, but I always wish I had some light to help me out. A couple of my friends bought similar lights to this one at the marine electronic stores for lots of money, and this one seems downright cheap. Sometimes you get what you pay for.... who knows more about these than me? This particular one says 240Watts, 14,400 Lumens. I saw another one at Amazon with the same wattage that said 24,000 Lumens - the price difference was negligible. I dont see how such a big difference in light intensity could happen though.
