LEFT OVER CHEESE BALL! GOTTA GO FROM HERE ;) So, this year I made my jalapeno bacon cheese ball again. If you remember from last year I didnt have a recipe I went by, although there are many to be found on the net....I used a block of room temp cream cheese, about a tablespoon of mayonnaise a little shake of dry ranch dressing mix, chopped jalapeno, and some shredded sharp cheddar cheese.Made a ball wrapped in plastic, sit in fridge awhile to firm up then rolled in crisp cooked crumbled bacon and more cheese. It was delicious, but we still have some left over and I am tired of it now.Its gotta go, but I wont dare throw it out! IT BECOMES A DELICIOUS TOPPING FOR BAKED CHICKEN. Simply bring left over cheese ball to room temp and mix as well as possible.(My cheese ball was a little more creamy due to adding the mayo originally) so mixing isnt that hard.If your cheese ball is more firm even after bringing to room temp, you may still cut pieces of the cheese ball and use it.I spread the cheese ball mixture onto my chicken breast and bake chicken as usual in the oven until done. It gives my chicken great flavor with the cheese, jalapeno and ranch dressing mix :)
