LEGAL ADVICE NEEDED Meedical Negligence resulting in amputation of limb. An elderly lady visited family doctors, walk in clinics and ER to get a stubbed toe looked at. It was known that she had diabetes and an infection was worsening due to lack of blood flow to the area. Over 9 months of constant visits to several health care providers, no one would admit her for hospitalization or take a serious look at her toe. By this time the toe had become necrotic, and was black. Finally, an excellent doctor took action and the result was the amputation of the leg. Since the elderly lady has not moved from her bed in over a year. She is unable to advocate for herself to get a lawyer to pursue a lawsuit against the negligent treatment she received prior to the final treatment. She is very poor. She has poor hygiene. And she feels that it is because of this, her overall appearance and illiteracy that she was not given proper treatment or taken seriously, until it was too late. She needs someone to visit her to give legal advice and possibly start a lawsuit so she can at least get a wheelchair, or a proper prosthetic, be able to get out of bed and be able to leave her house and live out the rest of her life with some freedom and dignity. Can someone help? Does anyone know of someone that can help? Please msg me, and lets keep looking out for our neighbor. Look out for the sick, the disabled, the elderly and defenseless.
