LEGAL NOTICE Notice of Public Hearing Village of Rockville Centre Nassau County, New York Hearing Date: April 23, 2014 Pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 340 Rockville Centre Village Code NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Appeals of the Village of Rockville Centre will hold a Public Hearing in the Eugene J. Murray Village Hall, 1 College Pl., Rockville Centre at 7:30 PM. PUBLIC NOTICE BZA HEARING APRIL 23, 2014 at 7:30 PM Case No. 07-2014 – Turkan Yuksel – to maintain a three piece bath below the first floor and a finished one story porch with a 16.44 foot front yard setback on Osborne Place and 11.87 foot setback on Osborne Place (Remsen Court) where 20.0 feet is required and the remaining yard would be 4.69 feet where 10.0 feet are required. Premises known as 34 Osborne Place. Case No. 12-2014 – Dr. Mark Brandon – To construct a second story deck on a single family dwelling in a Residence A district with a setback of 8 feet where the setback of the house shall be at least 20% of the average width of the lot on the shortest street frontage (Hempstead Avenue), but in no case less than 20 feet. Premises known as 414 Hempstead Ave. Case No. 14-2014 – Danielle Ray - Extension of time request - to obtain any or all Building Permits, Certificates of Occupancy or Compliance or Completion Certificates in conjunction with BZA Case 32-2012 & Permit #28813 – to construct one and two story additions and a detached garage for a single family dwelling. Premises known as 70 Foresdale Road. Case No. 16-2014 – Bonefish Grill – Extension of time request – to obtain any or all Building Permits, Certificates of Occupancy or Compliance or Completion Certificates in conjunction with BZA Case 09-2013 & Permit #29475 – to build a one story restaurant. Premies known as 340 Sunrise Highway. Case No. 17-2014 – Bonefish Grill – Parking variance was not initially deemed necessary as the Landlord was to merge lots so that restaurant would be contiguous to public parking field alleviating the need for a variance. As that has not been completed and the restaurant is ready to open, a variance is necessary, as 54 spaces are required where none are provided. Premises known as 340 Sunrise Highway. Notice of Public Work Session-April 23, 2014 at 7:30pm The Board of Appeals Public Work Session matter to be considered at that time is: Referral and review of Local Law # 1 (Substantial Occupancy Review of an occupancy of over 50 persons); specifically for the premises known as Bonefish Restaurant located at 340 Sunrise Highway The public is welcome to attend this work session, but public participation and comment is not permitted.
