LEGENDARY RIVER SURFING PIONEER- Documented River Surfing from. - 1993-2000 The first surfer that I know of who went out and searched for legit waves and took photos and documented. I want to say his name is Greg? I cant remember. We were in-touch years ago and then we lost contact. I think I left some youtube messages for him recently but no response. He rode Skook, Lunch Counter, Lochsa Pipeline, Trail Wave maybe some others? But as far as I know he was the first surferf who went out and searched and had his shit together. Cool guy. I dont know if anyone even knows his story? We met back when I had the WRSA and we talked on the phone a few times, so I got to hear what he had done first hand. Just on the phone. There isnt really any info on his youtube page. I doubt anyone else knows his story. I know Body Glove sponsored him for a bit, for the river surfing, not ocean surfing. I know Gath helmets sponsored him and maybe he even had the hook up at T&C surfboards. He was on it and he ripped. He was searching and promoting it, river surfing. He was was ahead of his time solid 20yrs ahead of his time. Well here he is, underground unknown river surfing pioneer. Just the fact you can really trace it right back to him.
