LEMBUS PERKERA ON VOICE OF EDUCATION Chelimo Festus from Kipkoriony was the best candidate with 354 marks.Charity Jepkorir from J.K. Moi emerged second with 351 marks.Kibet Jepchumba and Jelagat Chumba both from Kibias tied in the 3rd position. Kipchirchir from Kibias and Jane from Saos were also acknowledged and awarded for their tremendous performance during the national athletics competition for emerging the second in high jump and walking race respectively. While adressing the gathering,Munge congratulated the top candidates and schools and encouraged techers,parents and pupils to partner together to ensure the kids peform well adding that Education was key to his tenure and would do all he could to ensure all systems go well On matters of politics the area MCA adviced the locals to shun away from the referendum hullabaloos and instead focus on development terming the mid term elections as unneccesary and uncalled for.
