LEO needs our help This poor boy is in Spain with Encarni Erzsébet Seeing him in the public shelter, in a small cage where he could not even move broke our hearts. I posted him around a month ago, and faster than I though we got him out ( thank you for that my friends! ) He has been with us almost a month, we always though that he was a bit grumpy and he did not like to be touched or surounded by people or oder cats. But we could not be more wrong, hes a very friendly boy... still somedays he seemed to be like a diferent cat, hissing you to go away and mouning a lot... we knew that something wasnt okay with him. Two days ago we took him to the vet to check what was wrong with him. This big lion like boy. Leo has hip dislocation, dislocation of spine, a broken wrist and pain throughout the body. We cant even imagine all the pain this cat has been standing thru the months. All injuries are old, and there is not much to be done... hell be with chronic pain for the rest of his life. Taking painkillers, hopefully depending on the season he will not need the meds. He had someone intrested on him, hes very beautiful and unique so he got into the eyes of many people here in Spain. But now that we know hes sick and hell need specific treatment for the rest of his life... we fear the adoptions will just fail. So far, hes in the vet hospital and Ill know more by tomorrow. The cost of his vet visit is of 15€ the visit and 15€ the X-ray. But I should have the ticket and the rest of the cost tomorrow at some point.
