Tony Award winning lyricist, David Zippel was the artistic director and host and it stared Tony Award winner Lilias White, Brent Barret, Lorna Luft, Christiane Noll, Jessica Lea Patty and Tony Yazbeck. Highlights included Lilias White who stopped the show recreating her Tony Award winning signature song Im Getting Too Old For The Oldest Profession from Ira Gassmans lyrics and Cy Colemans music from The Life (1997). Other highlights included were Brent Barret singing Where I Want To Be from TIm Rice Lyrics and Benny Anderssons and Bjorn Ulvaeus music from Chess (1988). Christiane Noll singing Good Thing Going /Not A Day Goes By From Stephen Sondheims Merrily We Roll Along (1981). Lorna Luft sang Time Heals Everything form Jerry Hermans Mack and Mabel (1974). Tony Yazbeck and Jessica Lea Patty sang Youve Got Possibilities from Leigh Adams and Charles Strouses Its a Bird, Its A Plane, Its Superman (1966). It was a lot of fun finding golden songs in show that were not successful.
