LERNER EMAILS FOUND :: the independent U.S. Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA) informed congress Friday that up to 30,000 missing emails sent by former Internal Revenue Service official Lois Lerner have been recovered. Turns out, there was a backup system, despite claims of the administration otherwise. The IRS inspector general, after several weeks of forensic effort, were able to recover the previously lost emails that were destroyed in the IRS’s primary systems.
