LESSON LEARNED (please learn from my mistake): A few years ago I made a really BAD business decision. I became partners with a person who only saw me with $$$ in his eyes... I knew this was not a GOOD or smart decision but I was desperate to start my new design business... After a period of two years I realized that I had gotten myself into a bad and no-win situation... But it was too late - I had already signed my life and business away to not a bad man but to an equally as desperate man... Of course this eventually ended in lawsuit after lawsuit after lawsuit... When it was all over of course I found myself on the losing end because I had signed blindly and trustingly... After this nightmare I felt completely defeated, depleted and broken... But the worst feeling of all was that I felt like I was a BAD person for making a STUPID decision... It has taken me years to regain my confidence and standing and it only took me less than five minutes to sign these documents... But do I regret it - - - not for one second... It is because of this experience I can smell a snake a mile away and do nothing without my lawyer and financial advisors on board... I am protected these days like a one man Fortune 500 company... LOL... And for my former partner - he still periodically sues me whenever he sees my name or face in a newspaper, magazine or television... All I can tell him is this - he had better get ready to spend his lifes saving because Im back - stronger than ever and my face will soon be seen in 40 countries... And for all my creative and artistic friends let my experience be a lesson to you all lawyer up before you sign-up... I also beg you all to never let the richness of your self-worth be defined by the poorness of a bad decision...
