LET GO...LET GOD: We all have issues. I am not down-playing the fact. I am merely stating a fact. We all have a past that is better left...in the past. We cannot let our past define us. God did not die on the cross for us to be miserable in our life. His love encompasses our past, present and our future. As God forgives us, he forgets our past. We are not required to forget it, but we are instructed to learn from it, grow from it, and do good from it. Again, this is not to down-play anyone’s ‘issues’. I have mine, sometimes, I think about them daily. But, as those past indiscretions creep into my thoughts, I pray and meditate to push them out of my present. I will not let regrets rule my life from day to day. I will make every effort to generate good from my past. I will not let past disappointments influence the God appointed me. I will not let others opinions of me change me. I will only be influenced by God and his people. I will not let what other people have done pave my way. I will let what God has done for me reflect in my life. Let go! What is done is done. Do not repeat it by giving it free reign in your head. Let go! What others have done. They did it; they have to live with it. Let go! Let God lead you to living your abundant life; just as He intends.
