LET ME MAKE SURE I MAKE THIS CLEAR Yesterday when I was telling people to do more than just pray and when I said I will not throw scriptures at you, I WAS NOT saying dont preach the Gospel. Im not saying dont pray for people. Im a Christian, my source is THE WORD and Im void to even operate without it. As Christians I am commanded to pray to God for others as well as myself. This should go without saying but to avoid any confusion I wanted to make sure people didnt get the wrong message. The word love is in the Bible over 700 times (depending upon what version you read.) True love is compassion in action. Showing true love it to do so without an agenda. True love is helping someone I dont even know. Jesus is love. Love itself is a verb which requires ACTION. In order for us to be saved it required Jesus to do so by an action. He just didnt declare us saved with words or The Word . He had to DO SOMETHING. Just like we cant be saved by just SAYING SOME WORDS or REPEATING some words. The evidence that we are saved is by how will LIVE our lives not how we SAY we live. The Bible calls this FRUIT. Faith without WORKS (action) is dead. What good would it do to preach the Word but not live it. Becuz its the Word it would have SOME affect, but imagine if we preached the Word and LIVED it? How much more affect our witness would be for God. Do you know that most people dont accept Christ cuz the see Christians (or folks that claim to be). Their ACTIONS or lack thereof hardens their heart toward to word or even the idea about being saved becuz the word on the street is, them Christians are all talk. How do I know, cuz in out there on the streets DAILY preaching the Gospel and using words only when necessary.
