LET TELL THE TRUTH FAST. You may be aware that dowry and divorce has become incurable diseases in south Sudanese society at home and in diaspora and nobody want to intervene and help take the load off. An amount of three hundred thousand south sudanese pounds equivalent to almost 80,000usd is the order of a successful knot knocking while the government and local communities has no agenda to resolve this issue. Do we want south Sudan to be the home of single mothers and old bachelors who can,t afford to manage their matrimonial arrangement? I remember when I was in pibor as facilitator working with international organization to discuss rampant cattle raiding in jonglei state a young man told me the best medicine to cure fighting over cows is to take us to juba and marry Ugandan girls whom their parent never demand a penny because we can,t marry the girls of our choice here without raiding. We all know girls and their parents only waits for a lost boys and top civil workers to marry their daughters, where do you think a gentleman selling charcoal in konyo-Konyo can find a wife? Or is it not his constitutional right to have a family. Women on the other hand are busy looking for green pasture shifting from man to man just because of money did you forget that behind a strong man there is a strong woman? why don,t you settle and build that poor man to the man of your dream and God will bless you from there.
