LET this be a serious warning: If parts of Mindanao will be given self-governance according to the whim and caprice of the MILF, there will be no separate Bangsamoro Republic but a part of of our country ceded to Malaysia and it is not a remote possibility that the whole Philippines will become a territory of that country be it in the near or distant future. It is thus better to scrap the proposed Bangsamoro basic laws before it is too late.
