LETS PRAY “In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, HALLOWED be Your name. YOUR KINGDOM come. YOUR WILL be done On earth [in me] as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the KINGDOM and the POWER and the GLORY forever. Amen.” (Matt 6:9-13) NKJV How can we pray this prayer without it becoming routine repetition that leaves our hearts untouched? Jesus warned about such “Vain Repetition” (Mt. 6: 7). One way is to pray it phrase by phrase with 5 seconds or more of silence between each phrase. This gives the Holy Spirit space to fill our hearts and minds with an AWARENESS of God’s PRESENCE and POWER and what He may be saying to us through the prayer’s words. After praying it for yourself, you may wish to pray it for another. Christ’s Church exists to SERVE: “OFFERING A BETTER LIFE FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILY”
