LETS SHARE COFFEE: Man made upright Ecc.7:29 ‘Truly, this only I have found: That God made man upright, but they have sought out many schemes.’ I want to bring an understanding unto us today; though many have known this before now a lot of people still believe they were created not as a perfect individual from the on set; I disagree with that school of thought and want to say that by my bible man was made upright from the inception. We are the one that devises schemes that often than none put us in a position contrary to how we were created. At the time of the creation in vs. 27 of Gen. chapter 1; God made man and saw that what he made was good, not just good but stands very much in His likeness, so man was created in the likeness of God with every good quality we can find in God. But man sought out schemes, just like we do today trying to verify and research the pronouncement of God over our life; man decided to find out if they will truly die, and the woman ate the fruit and gave to the husband and they both sought out a new scheme in disobedience. The position of uprightness God created and placed man is the same position you are placed immediately after you surrender your life to Christ and accept Him as your Saviour. Sooner than ever like Adam and Eve a newly birthed man will begin to have understanding of his environment and upon interaction will know that there are other creatures around to interact with and schemes will begin. Is God saying we should not interact with the environment? No, outright No is the answer; but He wants us to be strong such that the environment will not influence us. Seeking of schemes usually follow of thought that we can do some things by our might, wisdom and knowledge; when we begin to grow and we indeed have understanding that we are growing, we begin to feel we should know and need not be led all the time; we begin to device schemes wherein we fall. You are what you are after the new birth by your design and schemes; when you want to spice your faith and make it look civilized and not local; when you begin to feel you are becoming fanatical and people don’t buy your views which are purely of God; when you feel not well associated with because of what you profess, you then begin to spice up your faith to blend and accommodate all. This schemes end up placing man not in a place of uprightness with God. Most times we begin to console ourselves by saying God understand, no we thought God understands but the schemes of men are not within the understanding of God, He created you upright and wants you to remain upright. When man fell, He decided to restore man by bringing another Adam to replace and restore man to the state of the first Adam, so your state of non-uprightness after the acceptance of the second Adam is by your scheme not His. Man’s scheme takes away the uprightness creature of God in man; remain in His arms and let Him coach you.
