LETS SHARE COFFEE: The Simplicity of our Gospel The Gospel that we preach is simple and need not be made to look complex, it could be as simple as we take and live it, loving not in words but indeed simplifies the essence of the coming of Christ through whom we are all joined together as hairs to the Kingdom. If we are therefore of the Gospel of Christ we have to act and live like Him in the area of love, we must preach and live His gospel of love to all. Acts 10:38 ‘how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with Power, who went about doing good…’ His ministry was one built on love, He went about doing good. He was anointed to do good, He was gifted and ordained to do good and He went about doing good; all the miracles Jesus performed were based on love and compassion none out of exuberance, none out of enthusiasm but all love and compassion based. I want to challenge us this morning to go back to the ministry of love manifested by good doing; you cannot claim you love if you do not give, you cannot say you love if you cannot share your gains and blessings with others. What are you doing with the guy next door, who cannot afford to feed a good meal per day yet your dog can afford three square meal, would Jesus have fed dog in place of man if He is to be in your shoe? He went about doing good; the good you do will go along way creating records for you in heaven, it does not end here, the rich man got his reward for his deeds, Abraham too got His; yours and mine cannot be different, our works will count for us. Works in heaven are not measured by career and training, they are not measured by grounds taken or empires built on earth, but by lives you affected while on sojourn to this world. Our Gospel is simple and made known by how much love we show; preach the gospel to someone today, the guy next door may just be waiting for it. Prayer: Father I ask for grace to love like you this morning, help me take care of my greed and selfishness while I love, I really want to have the hand of people and lead them to you, help me to do that which will touch a heart today that I may have such hand, give me a soul by way of love today Lord Jesus.
