LETTER SENT TO MR SEENEY with some beautiful backup photos (watch our cover page for them!) - great job Graeme! Dear Deputy Premier, It is said a picture is worth a thousand words. I send you two, to make sure you get the message. It is this, The Broadwater has been, for generations, where boat owners have sought their enjoyment of our waterways, sailing, fishing and motor boating. The ambience of the area would be destroyed, should development on Wavebreak Island and its sandbanks and more, proceed. Forget the environmental studies, the ship navigation studies, the economic benefit projections and all that stuff - they are irrelevant. There is far more to life than “bottom lines”. The issue is simple, The Broadwater should be left as it is, our Central Park and a very special one too. Any number of studies will never justify this development. Please ensure this beautiful area will always be available for the many generations to come, so they can enjoy it, as previous generations have done. Yours Sincerely, ... CAN YOU email the decision-making politicians like Graeme - or prefer just to do your name, details & click to send our v fast auto email - either way, you are helping the cause! Time is now short- the state election looms. Please go to saveourbroadwater/how-to-help for both petition - auto email - info. Thanks :)
