LETTER TO MR. PRESIDENT Alot has been said about Nigeria but not equally done, 53years of independence, in equity that is a Fair figure, 53years of running in circles witout a vivacious compass to lead us through a right path. I once read a post from an amicable young man saying A man at 50 years and yet poor is definitely Finish Though some will go at loggerheads of this statement but apparently it is axiomatic. Here is some dichotomy of your regime and the Iconic murtala mohammeds. With all due respect, theres never been so better a government past and present than this mans, Murtala jolted a sleeping nation into life, the vibrancy in his voice was arresting, the fire in his eyes charmed and awed the nation in contrast to the extravagancy of your govt. Murtala adopted a low profile, he lived in the same house he owned when he was a brigadier, he was the only Leader that drove a mercedes Benz without bullet proof and not the 600 series type. A close friend and colleague of his, Late MKO abiola, said that after his death, murtala had a totally of N7.22k(seven naira twenty two kobo) in his bank account. The blooming nature of Nigerias economy has afforded your extant regime a 1BN feeding allowance which in sincere opinion would build over 100 classrooms, what a waste! it has given right to the aviation minister to purchase two armoured cars worth N255M all in the name of protection, where over 70% of nigerian citizens live below 1$ daily, broad day robbing of the mass funds. Its a welcome development that a panel has been set to probe the purchase of the cars, but i doubt it will go farther than that. With all due respect sir, you have lost touch of everything, your administration of this country is miles dissatisfying. Please i adjure you sir, take a bow in this curtain call, when the ovation still sours high. This country dont need some namby pamby persons and aides to Lead us, we want a radical, sage and dauntless person who would give nigerians living in penury a sense of belonging, which you cant afford us. We want CHANGE! Yours sincerely, David chiemeka.
