LETTER TO MY MISSING BROTHER Dear Ebiaye, This is precisely eight yrs since u got missing. The July 16 th, 2006 catastrophe and tragedy dt visited our family is still very fresh. In fact, a great shock and hullabaloo to d entire family. U have nt eluded in my mind 4 a day and d entire family in general, bcus d vacuum created couldnt b filled. I would have written this to u since last month, bt each time I thought of it, tears languished my eyes and I lost my psyche, lacking d words and semantics for articulation. Ebiaye, after u got missing, John, our elder brother departed from this terrestrial to celestiality . Our only solace is ur daughter u left behind. She is doing wonderfully well by making d family proud in her endeavor to academic and scholastic eruditon. Recently she scored d highest mark in d entrance exam in Irele LGA. Ebiaye was a resilient, noble and gallant police officer serving in Lagos. He was my source of encouragement . Perhaps his vacuum retarded m d opportunity to further pursue my education. I remember d truck load of plans he had for m. He denied himself to marry just to give m d best How ever, I am strongly optimistic dt one day we shall see, not in heaven bt on earth .My brother, where ever u are I love u and missed u.
