LETTERS FROM THE FRONT Letters From The Front is a unique theatrical touring production dedicated to entertaining U.S. troops & their families. For 15 years our 3-act play Letters From the Front toured military and civilian venues around the world. It takes place during the closing days of WWII as a military mom, Katharine Hartgrove, waits to hear about the fate of her son, who is stationed in Italy. She is also a writer and has been commissioned to put together a play about actual letters from the front throughout American history, and her boyfriend, Johnny Chastain, a popular radio funnyman, is there to help. As their differing views as to how to present war correspondence are revealed, a picture of America emerges that is honest, poignant and surprisingly entertaining. The ending is unexpected and has brought hundreds of audiences to their feet in standing ovations. Military commanders have bestowed so many awards and commendations on this unique theatrical touring production that it has become known as The Worlds Most Decorated Play.
