LET’S CLEAR THE AIR……ONCE AND FOR ALL…. It has become apparent that the Powers That Be are keen on trying matters of Violation of the Public Trust and the Breach of Fiduciary Duties in the Court of Public Opinion….I suggest then that the PEOPLE use this stage wisely… I think all St Lucians are all witness to the lackadaisical demeanor which the Executive and Judicial branches of our Government have taken on matters of Violation of the Public Trust and the Breach of Fiduciary Duties. The plight and frustration meted out to the PEOPLE of St Lucia as a result of these violations and breaches is grossly being taken for granted by our Politicians. Those who have cause to represent the best interest of the PEOPLE, use our displeasure solely for political one-upmanship and party expedience. IT IS TIME TO CLEAR THE AIR ON THESE MATTERS…….. My Fellow St Lucians join me in demanding ACCOUNTABILITY NOW. I propose the immediate formation of two Independent Special Investigative and Inquiry Committees forthwith to: 1. Investigate and inquire and make remedial and prosecutable recommendations into: a. Alleged misappropriation and abuse of Taiwanese Funds by ALL members of the former United Workers Party administration. b. Into all contracts for projects, work orders and funding distributions of the former Communications and Works Ministry. c. Into all contracts for projects, work orders and funding distributions by the former Minister of Communications and Works, the Hon. Guy Joseph. d. The apparent malfeasance, or perhaps inadvertence by the former minister of Finance the Hon. Stephenson King and of Communications and Works, in not seeking Parliamentary approval of the issuance of supposedly $61 million in loans funding , allegedly for road construction and infrastructure projects. 2. Investigate and inquire and make prosecutable recommendations into: a. The Grynberg Licensing Matter, specifically as it pertains to the initiation process, and as to whether parliamentary protocol was followed by the then and current Prime Minister Dr. Kenny Antony in the issuance of exploratory licenses . b. The alleged hidden documents related to the Grynberg matter being kept under lock and key by a former Public Servant and aid to the Prime Minister. These Public inquiries and investigations will at the very least will provide St Lucians with some better detailed insight and knowledge into these breaches and violations as opposed the piece meal snippets being meted out by propagandists using it to sway Public Opinion. I suggest if you want the PEOPLE and not the courts to decide the opine on these matters then let us get to the FACTS not political opinion. St Lucians are caused immense and immeasurable loses of public funds not to mention the distrust of public officials who represent and purport to represent the BEST INTEREST OF THE PEOPLE. We cannot have these characters continue to our POLITICAL PLATFORMS with these dark clouds looming over their heads. DEMAND ACCOUNTABILITY NOW. With an election looming I am committed to RE-POSTING this demand every day on all the pages…….until we get clear and precise accountability on these matters, up until the next general elections…..
