LEXI and I are planning to move back to Phoenix in two weeks. I am so grateful for RIMAS support and love and so excited that we will continue to explore our love for each other. I moved away from Phoenix in an attempt to run away from cancer but what I found out was that I left behind my friends and the best medical team that are in the Chandler area. I hope you will all welcome LEXI and I back and I am excited for you all to meet RIMA in a few weeks!! I will miss my Vegas friends SHANNON, SHANE, GRAIGHNE, COREY, BRYCE , JENN, HILLARI, and ELIZAs insane spin classes, and Vegas will always be a big part of our lives moving forward and we will figure out where we will settle down after chemo. I am also so grateful to everyone who visited me here...I do need all of your help to get through chemo (lets do something epic during chemo like run a marathon on each chemo session - there are 6 sessions over 18 weeks) and Ironman but way more important, I want to be there for my friends when a storm hits their house, or they move, etc. I am SO SORRY if i missed anyone below...I love you all... It has become clear to me that I will receive the best medical care during chemo in the Chandler area. My cancer doctors are the best at Ironwood with ALEXIAS husband MICHAEL who is my good friend and Oncologist, with my Urologist and Radiation Oncologist there and MARGARET coordinating it all (and Thai massage when I get back Margaret!), and all the doctors and medical professionals who will help me through chemo and Ironman such as my primary care provider at Associated Internists, my podiatrist at Ocotillo Foot and Ankle who is a marathoner and loves my story and helping me, the awesome team at Spooner Physical Therapy Ahwatukee with LARISSA and DREA, Drs. ANGIE and DAVID for chiro work, my psychologist who encourages me to operate outside my comfort zone and is a magician with PTSD using EMDR, and KELLI and her dentist Dr. PAUL NIELSON who seems to be the only person who can fix my chipped tooth, if/when I need to be hospitalized so grateful that I can contact the awesome nurses KIM and TERI at Chandler Regional which is now a trauma facility and know that they will visit me at 3 am when I am crying to help me through the night, the great team at Thai Royal Massage to keep stretching me out, having healthy meals prepared by MAGDA, and so many more who keep my body and head together as I push the envelope of what can be done as a cancer patient. I miss all the group rides in Chandler area, and I selfishly want to be around KC MILLER more - her energy is contagious, and work on my yoga and contribute in any way possible to team SWIHA. WENDY I may finally come out for a run...maybe :) PAIGE and DOUG, while I thought I was going to die climbing out of Lake Bartlett, it was so needed (!) and I still have nightmares about it but want to do it again!! NANCY I loved our chats during ride from radiation and your encouragement that I could do Ironman!! JOHN PATTERSON I look forward to challenging each other during spin!! And now I can accept some crazy challenge like the arctic ice bath in person from TONY (ok, well maybe not in person for that one) LOL. I want to ride with you again JEFF LIVINGOOD as you inspire the hell out of me brother!! RANDY and RANDY - what can I can say? I miss you guys!! DIANE lets wrap it out together!! BRANDY I need a few tune ups at Global Bikes!! RICK miss you as a big brother ensuring I am not embarrassing myself in public with snorkels and nose clips or the backstroke, and MICHELLE I need you to bless all my poker chips :) CHANCE, I am so damn proud of you and excited to hike with you!! DAVID PINKUS Ive always looked up to you - except the Hillary blip - so lets hike!! JENN I cant wait to make you blush with prostate stuff and KELLY BOYCKS I want to be there for you as you were there for me...and I would love for the local media team pros LYNETTE, MARC and others to break the chemo/Ironman story as they did so great last year!! My trainer CHUCK is the best and so excited to see his face when I tell his about Ironman during chemo!! I miss spin with JULIE and STEVE so much as I miss hearing OH YEAH!!!! and lift the boys and my all time favorite classes are the Sunday 9am spin at Village (even kinda miss the fake people there!) and Friday 530am at Lifetime with Fall Out Boy playing, and of course Pelvic Floor work here we come!! DAVID CORTLEY so excited to do lunch again!! When I feel bad for myself, I love to look over and see SHAWNA kicking ass with MARIA and when I think of her struggles I tell myself STFU!! And the romantic tandem bike ride with MARK MATTECHECK
