LFA will be producing The Spiritual Power of Art, a year-long, three show series of art exhibits and multiarts presentations. The Spiritual Power of Art: The Human Spirit is the first exhibit in the four year, 14 exhibit Life Force Arts Manifesto series being produced by Life Force Arts Foundation. Each year for the four years 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018, Life Force Arts will focus on one section of its core statement, the Life Force Arts Manifesto, as the theme for its shows. At Life Force Arts Center, the Gallery and art exhibits create the sacred space to hold performances, concerts, poetry readings, workshops, lectures and other events as healing rituals based on each shows theme. Life Force Arts Manifesto series (2015 - 2018) 2015 - The Spiritual Power of Art. Three different meanings of spirit: Human Spirit, Universal Energy and Mystical & Religious Experience 2016 - The Art Continuum. The 3 Perceptual Modes (auditory, visual, kinesthetic) that are the basis of human perception, communication, healing modalities, learning styles and cultural expression, and that at their highest level of development are called “the arts” 2017 - 4 Fields of human life that the spiritual power of the arts impacts: Communication, Learning, Healing and Community 2018 - 4 Types of spiritual art: Informational, Instructional, Transformational and Cultural The mission of Life Force Arts Foundation is to activate the spiritual power of the visual, literary and performing arts in artists and audiences. Each of the four sections of the Manifesto illustrates an aspect of our mission statement. In the first year, 2015, The Spiritual Power of Art series of exhibits explores three different meanings of “spirit”: three basic ways that spirit is embodied in the visual, literary and performing arts. Our goal for this series is to help people deepen their understanding of why they are attracted to, or conversely may be avoiding, various aspects of the spiritual dimension of art.
