SO JUST STAY IN THE SENATE AND ENJOY. 2017, WE WILL BE CELEBRATING BUT IT WILL NOT BE THE CDC AND GEORGE WEAH CELEBRATION. Liberia can’t afford a similar effect of the 1980 Coup. There were progressive Liberians ready to bring about a positive change in 1980. Unfortunately, the 1980 coup occurred and threw the nation into a negative spin with an uneducated man and a military sergeant, Samuel K. Doe, becoming President, This was due to the failure of the ruling elites to respond to the needs of the masses. It took a civil war and the destruction of the nation to bring about some stability. More than 35 years wasted compounded with more than 250,000 lives. Can Liberia repeat the same scenario in 2017 with a different configuration. The current ruling elites of the Ellen Johnson government are repeating the ills of the past in addition to being the most corrupt government of all times in the history of Liberia. Will the nation repeat a different version of the 1980 coup by turning the government over to CDC? The corrupt ruling elites have given the children of Liberia no hope and aspiration; therefore, anything other then the elites will suffice. THAT COULD LEAD TO A COUP VIA THE BALLOT BOX IMPLEMENTED BY THE UNEDUCATED AND UNINFORMED MASSES - GEORGE WEAH PRESIDENCY AND CDC ADMINISTRATION. JOKE, IT WILL NOT HAPPEN. Liberia must not make such mistake again. CDC can’t mange its own party; how can it mange a government? CDC can’t even manage a successful and progressive city government. It will be a complete travesty for anyone to think that George Weah can manage the state of affairs of government when he has the lest inkling of what government is or what government should do. LIBERIANS SHOULD NOT MAKE SUCH FOOLISH MISTAKE TO THINK THAT GEORGE WEAH CAN LEAD A NATION. IT WILL BE A REPEAT OF THE DOE GOVERNMENT. THE GOVERNMENT THAT THE LIBERIAN PEOPLE HATED SO BADLY AND HAD TO WELCOME THE CORRUPT ELLEN SIRELAF CIVIL WAR THAT TOOK 250,000 LIBERIAN LIVES TO REMOVE HIM AND GAVE POWER TO A MONSTER LIKE CHARLES TAYLOR IN THE PROCESS. .
