LIBRARIES BORING? YOU MUST BE KIDDING: This article in the Huffington Post, written by Library as Incubator Project co-founders Erinn Batykefer and Laura Damon-Moore, busts some misconceptions about libraries that, surprisingly, may still be held by those who haven’t visited one in a while. First and foremost, libraries are definitely not boring; they are, in fact, vibrant community centers, often providing cutting-edge programs and services, and they are occasionally even subversive, particularly when championing banned books and challenging ideas.
