LICENSEES AND PROSPECTIVE LICENSEES AND THE PUBLIC, PROTECT - TopicsExpress

LICENSEES AND PROSPECTIVE LICENSEES AND THE PUBLIC, PROTECT YOURSELF People use real estate companies, sub-dividers, loan modifiers, short sale consultants, etc. and get scammed, conned, cheated, fleeced or worse. By one check on their computer they could have been warned and perhaps taken different actions. In the past years two people have requested that they be allowed to sell our courses on an affiliate arrangement. I checked the BRE website and one had been convicted of a felony of intellectual property (not a good crime if they are using my books) and the other had his right to do classes revoked. Check something you might find interesting: Go to bre.ca.gov and at the top click on licensees. A drop down screen will list disciplinary actions. Click on that, and a large list is there. You can check loan modifiers, short sale consultants, sub-dividers, pre-paid rental list providers, and my favorite, course providers. Licensees and prospective licensees, check this site. It will list companies, and the penalties invoked. Also, the HEARING NUMBERS are listed so you can read what the providers did wrong. BTW, in a couple cases, Realtor Associations and Home Warranty Companies and Brokerage Firms are cited. Before any of you use any provider check them out. Dont believe me? Read some of these stories. Incidentally, one of the companies advertised Pay us this sum, and we will give you Free CE for Life. I guess the ad should have read, BRE might shorten your life by eliminating this provider. Fortunately, in my opinion the vast majority of the Course Providers try to follow all the rules although sometime the rules are hard to interpret.
