LIE DRIVEN RELATIONSHIPS Years ago, I witnessed a wedding ceremony where the groom refused to come to church until 4pm. It was revealed to the groom on the wedding day that when the bride was in secondary school, she became pregnant and gave birth to a child. When she met the groom and all through the period they were in courtship, she didnt tell him about her child that was born out of wedlock. Nobody knew who exposed the secret to the groom on the wedding day. He was disappointed. It brought hurt, pain and betrayal of trust. He only forgave her after a serious plea from pastors. Dont hide anything during your courtship! Anybody who cant accept you the way you are, even after truly giving your life to Christ, does not love you. Anyone who loves you will respect your honesty and commitment to a new life. A true relationship is when you can tell each other anything and everything, without keeping anything secret. Any relationship that is built on lies may not stand the test of time! In lie-driven Relationship, DECEPTION IS THE ORDER OF THE DAY. Trust is found to be absent, yet this is the FOUNDATION OF relationships that last.
