LIEUTENANT WADI CONVICTION:President Daniel Arap Moi was called a dictator many times.I remember one article (during the 90s) by one(Former MP for Githunguri) Njehu Gatabaki who was the publisher of The Finance magazine.In the article Gatabaki not only insulted Moi but the whole Kalenjin Community.Moi received a lot of what one may consider as insults from those days champions of democracy like Mukhisa Kitutyi,Wamalwa Kijana,James Orengo,Alfred Nderitu,Gitobu Imanyara and many others.If there are any insults worthy jailing so many people were those during the 2000s Muungano wa Mageuzi rallies.Alan Wadis words do not warrant him two years in jail.He isnt worse than those looting public coffers,those .After all whatever we write here on facebook should never be serious-just like I never take the insults my friend Hon Moses Kuria writes about Luos because I know in the evenening I will easily spot him sipping Hennesy with Otieno Aluoka in company of Kamau Mbugwa.Lieutinant Wadi should be allowed to pursue his education.It is the frustration of the way this country is being run that has made many young people angry.Those who can express their anger are much better than the silent ones.So,was justice really served in Alan Wadis case?
