LIFE BEGINS WITH A RELATIONSHIP Life does not begin with a relationship with people. It begins with a relationship with God and that relationship overflows to people. God Almighty said in Jeremiah 1:5, “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you”. His desire is to be our first and greatest friend. His aim is to have a close relationship and friendship with us. This is the purpose of Christianity. For Christianity, although practiced by man on earth is a spiritual affair in which the Christian communes in faith with our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Christianity therefore, is all about relationship and the atmosphere produced by that relationship. This is the golden thread that links creation to its Maker, Jesus Christ. As you go about your day, “Ask now about the former days, long before your time, from the day God created human beings on the earth; ask from one end of the heavens to the other. Has anything so great as this ever happened, or has anything like it ever been heard of?” (Deuteronomy 4:32)
