LIFE ON OUR NUT FARM – PUPPY GIRLS and APPLE PIE Sunny, sixty degrees here on Whidbey Island, it was a quiet day on the Nut Farm. I worked in the yard, camera over my shoulder, Puppy Girls Frances, Josephine, and Marie on leashes along beside me. It is a fun way for them to get used to the leash and a session in patience for me. Then I turned on the hose, to water the flowers. Miss Frances Loves Water and this is a Post unto itself! Luckily, on the leash, otherwise she would have been lost in all the flowers! After diving, running, and chasing the water, Miss Frances was soaking wet. It was dark, time to come in, and I now had to carry three wet Puppies into the house! Michael picked and made delicious Jonagold Apple pies for our son Alexander’s “Almost” Birthday party dinner Friday night.
