LIFE ON OUR NUT FARM – SATURDAY POTPOURRI The refrigerator is overflowing, and the Puppy Girls love it! Takes longer to find and/or put food away, giving them more time to explore the lower area and shelves on the door. Convinced there is something for them, their tails are wagging! Our fridge is older, I have the cabinet depth, although it holds less, I prefer the look. It works just perfect for Michael and me, especially because he prepares meals…When he is home! Although, Adrienne is home now and she prepares the meals! Adrienne enjoys the process of food as much as I enjoy everything to do with fabric. She likes going to the grocery store, selecting different and interesting foods, and creating new dishes. This fills our refrigerator beyond maximum capacity, and our cupboards look the same! It has been a fun filled family week, my almost ninety three year-old father Kenny over most evenings. Our granddaughters Nicole, Roslyn, and daughter-in-law Jamie here several times as well. Adrienne’s friend, Annie, as we speak is on her way back to Ireland, it has been great having her here! We have had wonderful meals, fun playing and planting in the Garden, badminton in the backfield, croquet, swimming, and sunshine up until today! I am enjoying this first summer with all our family together once again. It has been over a dozen years. Our son Alexander, in the Marine Corp deployed all over the world. While our daughter Adrienne has been a student in Ireland. Michael and I especially celebrate the newest members of our family. We are blessed they have moved back to the Pacific Northwest. With Love, from Our Nut Farm.
