Shall I overtake them?” And He answered him, “Pursue, for you shall surely overtake them and without fail recover all. ” I Samuel 30:8 (NKJV) Every destiny is set for a purpose.You are created in Christ to work good things in the lives of others. You are Gods masterpiece to gather the pieces in other people’s lives.God’s purpose is that your life will give meaning to other people’s lives. Joseph knew this from the beginning, so he understood success as a journey. He knew his life’s purpose from the dream God gave him in his youth. What is your purpose? What are you living for? What dream is in your heart? It is not enough to have a dream or a vision, you must be ready and willing to pursue it. The proof of every desire is in pursuit. Your dream when pursued will most likely predict your future. No dream, no future! Without a dream, destiny is doomed! Destiny is a race of responsibility. If you don’t want to be a liability, you have to accept the singular responsibility of pursuing your dream to practical reality. It is your imagination that determines your destination. What is not fully registered in your mind cannot be fully present in your life. A dream takes you into the reality of your future before you get there. God has promised you a future and the power to enter it (Jeremiah 29:11). That future will be actualised through your dream. The whole secret of a successful life is to find out what is one’s destiny and then do it; that is, having a dream and living that dream! But it will take diligent, tireless, restless and relentless pursuit. You must be like Gideon who when Israel was at war with the Midianites, it was recorded concerning him...And Gideon came to Jordan, and passed over, he, and the three hundred men that were with him, faint, yet pursuing them. (Judges 8:4). You must pursue until you possess. Giving up is like jumping off a train when it is in motion. You must not give up on that dream. The enemy has robbed you long enough. It is time to strengthen the weak hands and shake the feeble knees and tell yourself: I will pursue until I overtake and recover all redemption has purchased for me. You must keep your dream in focus because it will give you direction and allow you develop and increase your potential. It is your dream that will keep you on, for if you stop having faith in the future, you will lack power for the present. Your dream will discipline you to prioritise your life. It will make you know what to give up in order to go up. It limits your association and defines your relationship. You cannot just move with anybody because you are not going anywhere! You have a definite destination because you are different from others. Your dream helps you sense the invisible so you can do the impossible because, only what you dream, you can dare. You can dream again. Get closer to God to catch what is in His heart for you. The process of a dream begins with the seed of an idea; a vision that grows from heartfelt desire. It can be caught in study of the Word of god and prayer as you join with Paul and ask Him to..help you understand what He wants you to do...(Colossians 1:9 TLB), This is your week.
