LIFEWALKS&TALKS: When the Lord chooses a place or a person, that place or person is singled out for His Blessing and His Glory....With this in mind, let us take the time to search out and study again the results of being chosen as followed: 1. This is My rest forever. Here will I dwell... (Psalm 132:14) - Basically, the chosen place becomes the place where the Lord loves to rest, and He has chosen us as our hearts have become His rest place to commune with us. 2. I will abundantly bless her provision: I will satisfy her poor with bread. (Psalm 132:15) - Nonetheless, why are there so many poor people in the land today? Because the nations have forsaken the Lord and driven Him out of their governments, their schools, their homes and their hearts....Furthermore, as long as we love the Lord, and do things according to His Will, He will bless us abundantly and provide all our needs for us. 3. I will also clothe her priest with salvation... (Psalm 132:16) - Moreover, so many who serve the Lord in the ministry are not wearing the robe of salvation themselves, but are clothed in their own rags of self-righteousness instead....However, to be clothed in salvation is to be made glorious and protected from all evil. 4. ...her saints shall shout aloud for joy. (Psalm 132:16) - Those who have the Lord are a joyous and a happy people, shouting aloud for joy when their hearts are bubbling over for joy. 5. There will I make the horn of David to bud... (Psalm 132:17) - The horn speaks of power and authority, and when the Lords anointing is upon us, our lives will bud fruitfulness. 6. ...I have ordained a lamp for Mine anointed. (Psalm 132:17) - There will be a wonderful lamp of enlightenment, even the Light of creation, and the Light of preservation; and the Light of the Lords presence that will shine in our lives. 7. His enemies will I clothe with shame... (Psalm 132:18) - Those who were Davids enemies were the Lords enemies because they worked against the Lords Will. 8. ...But upon himself shall his crown flourish. (Psalm 132:18) - The crown of the anointing is the beautiful ever-increasing diadem and halo of glory which rests over the Lords chosen ones. In conclusion, the blessings of being chosen is what we must live for in Jesus Name, and not for the earthly rewards of glory which are here today and gone tomorrow.
