LIGHTING OF THE SQUARE ON NOV. 29 November 19th, 2013 by Keith Hutchinson Celebrate the holiday season on the day after Thanksgiving at the annual Lighting of the Square event on Friday, November 29. The event will be held on the east steps of the historic Williamson County Courthouse, 710 S. Main Street, in downtown Georgetown. ChristmasLights18bThe festivities include entertainment from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. with holiday music by the Austin Carolers. Refreshments will be provided. Williamson County Judge Dan A. Gattis and Georgetown Mayor George Garver will lead the official lighting of the Courthouse and grounds.
