LILY Allen has landed AFP officers in hot water after tweeting a photo of herself apparently handcuffed at Coolangatta Airport shortly after she touched down on the Gold Coast yesterday afternoon. The image shows the controversial British singer on her knees as a uniformed police officer appears to place her in handcuffs. Allen, who was last night’s headliner at the Splendour in the Grass music festival, has more than 4.7 million followers on Twitter. She flew into the Coast at 1.20pm on a Qantas flight before travelling to the festival site at Yelgun, in northern NSW. The Courier-Mail understands the AFP has launched an investigation but it is yet to respond to questions about the incident. Hundreds of people retweeted the picture posted but it has since been removed.
