LINA(A 0985029) ****I AM NOT FEELING WELL AND FOR THAT I WILL DIE**** This is Lina, a 10 year old Chihuahua mix that was brought into the shelter as a stray, so not much is known about her past life. Lina is not feeling well at the moment, she has some medical issues, some due to being a senior, and some due to medical. Between her medical issues and her being a Chihuahua (they are VERY particular who they allow near them) Lina is having difficulty letting anyone near her to examine her, she is very protective of herself, being in defense mode. But can you blame Lina, she is not feeling well and all they want to do is some tests that prod and poke her to see if she will eat and bite some stupid plastic hand. Instead of being sympathetic to Lina’s not feeling well, they would rather kill her, on the notes from the resident vet, if they do not find placement by a New Hope rescue for Lina, then she should be euthanized. JUST LIKE THAT. No chance whatsoever. Lina is a Chihuahua, and they are very selective on who they let in their world, Chihuahua’s become attached to one human and they have loyalty to that human until they die. It is very amazing and heartbreaking. Because when that human is gone, like in Lina’s case, they are confused and scared. Lina needs a new human that she can trust and one who will care for her and see she gets the right medical treatment. I bet once Lina is out of the shelter, feeling better, and finds a new human, she will be a completely different dog. But she just needs a chance. Chihuahua’s can live along life, Lina has many years ahead of her if just given a chance. Won’t you hep sweet Lina find a new life. Tonight will be her last night on earth if you don’t. start contacting rescues now. You won’t be sorry. https://facebook/photo.php?fbid=707912372554978&set=a.617942388218644.1073741870.152876678058553&type=1&theater
