LINDA: She had a Thrombotic Ischemic Stroke, a blockage in her carotid artery. When she first got here, the first CT scan showed that her right side was okay, but it did show constriction on the left carotid, but no stroke. It happened while she was here. The doctor said that the treatment they would do for the stroke was what they were already doing for her because of the infection. Thats why he said he was optimistic. I just wish she would wake up so we could tell how much damage there is. They said the stroke is in the upper right quadrant of the brain, which they claim is the best place to have one if you have to have one. Well see. They still are not sure of the bacteria from the food poisoning, but they think they know... they just have to wait for the cultures to grow to confirm it. I heard today that she didnt finish all the sandwich that she reheated... and fed the last of it to her girlfriend, Lilys dog.....the dog immediately started vomiting and got really lethargic.... the dog showed signs before Linda did. Well keep you all posted, and THANK YOU, EVERYONE, FOR ALL THE PRAYERS
